Cable Companies Work Together for More Effective Advertising


Charter Communications, Comcast Cable, and Cox Communications are banding together with their jointly owned NCC Media group to work out how to better advertise to help NCC clients.

The project will launch later this year and be headed up by Comcast Media 360 Vice President Andrew Ward. He will be the general manager. The three cable companies, Comcast, Charter, Cox as well as NCC, will all work together. NCC is a nationwide media sales company that represents video providers.

Andrew Ward has been working with NCC Media for 15 years. He worked for Comcast Spotlight, where he worked on a addressable advertising platform and new data and analytic capabilities.

The NCC Media's board is led by David Kline, Executive Vice President and President of Media Sales at Charter Communications , Billy Farina Cox Communication's Senior Vice President and Marcien Jenckes, the President of Advertising at Comcast Cable.
